Bryce Canyon — Queen's Garden / Navajo Loop
The single best loop in Bryce — through Wall Street's switchbacks, past Thor's Hammer, into the Silent City of hoodoos.
Family & Easy Wins
Mini-hoodoo zone with a small waterfall — see Bryce Canyon in 45 minutes on this easy 0.8-mile family hike just off Highway 12.
Mossy Cave is the Bryce Canyon experience for guests who don't want to commit to a full Bryce day. 0.8 miles round-trip from a small parking area on Highway 12, leading past a small waterfall to an alcove (the 'mossy cave') framed by mini-hoodoos.
It's a separate part of Bryce Canyon — outside the main amphitheater — with its own free entry (though Bryce park admission is required if you also visit the amphitheater). 45 minutes total, very easy walking, kid-perfect.
**Best as:** a Bryce sampler when you don't have time for Queen's Garden / Navajo, or as a mid-day stop on the drive home from a Bryce overnight.
