Easy slot canyon

Jenny's Canyon is the smallest, most family-friendly slot canyon in southern Utah. A 0.5-mile round-trip walk inside Snow Canyon State Park leads to a kid-sized slot you can walk through in 5 minutes — towering red walls, tight curves, photogenic enough to make every kid feel like an explorer.

The trail is entirely flat, well-marked, and no scrambling required. The slot itself is short — maybe 80 feet long — but feels dramatic. Mid-morning light catches the walls; sunset is also good if you can time it.

**Pair with:** Petrified Dunes (right next door), the Snow Canyon scenic drive, or the lava tubes.

**Note:** the slot closes seasonally (typically March-July) for nesting Mexican spotted owls. Check Snow Canyon's status page before visiting.
