River Rock is the local coffee + casual food spot you'll be glad you found. La Verkin location, a few minutes from Hurricane and 25 minutes from the property, with a 1,000-foot patio carved into the cliff over the Virgin River gorge — one of the most dramatic outdoor seats anywhere.
They roast their own coffee, run a wood-fired pizza oven, and keep the menu casual: pizza, salads, breakfast all day, espresso in any form. Pricing is reasonable. Service is friendly. The view is the upgrade.
**Most useful as:** the place you stop for espresso on the way to a Gooseberry sunrise ride; lunch break between Sand Hollow and home; sunset patio with pizza after a Wire Mesa afternoon. Closed Sundays.
